Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College, Patiala has been established by the Government of Punjab as a constituent College of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda at Civil Aerodrome, Sangrur Road, Patiala to provide degree level course in B.Tech. (Aeronautical Engineering). Objective of this institute is to impart high quality education to its students in the field of aviation to meet the demand of engineers in aviation industries.
The Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College, Patiala also enjoys geographical advantage, as it is well connected by air, rail and road. The college campus is exists on NH-7 at patiala civil aerodrome making it accessible to several important centers around the city. The Campus is situated 7 Km away from Patiala Railway railway station, in a lush green and pollution free environment.
Civil Aerodrome, Patiala is being developed as multi-discipline training facility hub in aviation sciences and related fields, where pilots training, aircraft maintenance engineering course, aviation related DGCA's subjects training and ground subject teaching, well equipped aviation workshops with advance equipment and Degree level course i.e. B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) do exist.
